A two-day Mid-Media Campaign on HIV Awareness cum promotion of LWS services was conducted on 26–27 June 2026 at Maite village in collaboration with the Games & Sports Association, Maite, during a volleyball tournament. The campaign utilized the sporting event as a platform to reach both participants and spectators with important HIV awareness messages.

Public speeches on HIV prevention, stigma reduction, and the services offered by LWS were delivered during the programme. In addition, short awareness messages were broadcast over the public address (PA) system throughout the tournament to reinforce key information among the audience. IEC booklets and leaflets on HIV awareness and LWS services were also distributed to the participating players and spectators.

The campaign received encouraging participation from the community and served as an effective medium for promoting HIV awareness and encouraging access to available health services.
